A cord of wood produces the heat of 150 to 170 gallons of oil. Relative to $4.80 / gallon heating oil, a $280 cord of wood has the same heating value as $750+ of oil. Firewood is a bargain fuel that supports jobs in our local economy.

Our wood comes from local forestlands that are managed for sustainable timber growth. Burning our firewood is 100% carbon neutral - as you are heating your home with wood and releasing Greenhouse Gases (CO2) into the air, these gases are absorbed and converted by our healthy trees back to wood fiber and life sustaining oxygen as they grow. Firewood is our local source of affordable clean, renewable Bio-energy !

Both timber left unused to decay OR burned as firewood produce CO2. Growing trees absorb this CO2 and through photosynthesis produce wood fiber and oxygen.
